As Seen On Stars
Every girl remembers her first time, mine was roughly 10 years ago flipping through Glamour magazine and spotting a new site called as seen on stars where you could buy everything on trend, worn by celebrities. The first thing I brought was a black one shoulder silk blouse with super long neck tie ( I think I still have it) Well that was a long time ago, and Asos has more than grown up; we all say we want to achieve world domination ( don’t we?) and there are not many people, who I know of anyway, that haven’t heard of the superbrand which is Asos. A few months ago I was finally invited in to the Asos sanctum, the brand were previewing their autumn winter 2012 in Somerset House ( you really don’t realise how huge the space is, LFW really is overcrowded) As with so many press days it was a checklist for my future wardrobe as well as blog posts, and magazine features. Mixing of textures was used time and time again utilising fabrics to full effect the matte of the burgundy wool jumper layered over the sheen of a patent burgundy shirt, turning an otherwise mundane ensemble to another level. The same design was also used in the jewellery, and accessories, neon pom poms combined with metal, clutches in neon contrasting graphic patterns, and gold oversized sequins atop leather gloves. I am very sure right now that you are probably not reading any of this Asos rocks enjoy the pictures, and thats all you ned to know ( and if you are reading keep an eye out for Markus Lupfer for Asos Black)
