Inside Bracher HQ, a platter of box juices, biscuits and sweets seemed such an odd set up in the presence of renowned luxury line Bracher Emden but it was in keeping with the warm Bracher team who were so lovely and accommodating to a blogger and her kids on the dreaded 6 week holiday. I will find just about any excuse to talk about the luxury leather handbag line because I am obsessed with the attention to detail, and change-up of bag shapes; instead of a straight cut clutch think of the Bracher breast bag compositioned like a boomerang. Leather piping, applique, and crystal embellishment throughout the varying styles, the designs are essentially a masterclass in accessory surface textiles, and as of August 31st the collaborative ’heart’ Bora Aksu designs that went down the AW12 catwalk will be available to buy in Harrods. Bring on London Fashion week AS the team confirmed there would be another collaboration with Bora Aksu agAin this season, I’ll make sure to have my 75-300mm lens ready to get those close-ups.
