Long have I given up on glossy high shine lip colours to last the day,  matte really is the way to go for great colour and longer lasting wear.  For fans of their current lip velvet lipstick range, Burberry have announced the launch of Liquid Lip Velvet,  a 14 shade collection of creamy liquid lip colours which will boast a non-drying formula  which promises to not fade or crack.

The formula does in fact  glide on effortlessly, delivering a creamy, soft-matte finish. Expect defined shape  and good solid colour with a lasting velvet finish, thanks to the whipped texture. This trio is just a taste of the bold palette. Compared to what is inside the bottle, I would say that the colours are slightly paler, than you would think. These liquid lip velvets will be perfect to create classic Burberry runway looks that is effortless with a defined eye and subtle lip.  The dark rosewood which is a warm blush pink is the one that actually looks best against my dark skin.  The Fawn Rose is a dusty light cool neutral rose pink, and the Fawn No.5 is another pretty pink, and both will work better for paler skin, and will give that airbrushed finish.
