Clio Peppiatt is just one of those presentations at London fashion week that is the enigma of being under the radar, (but obvs not to the ones who really know) and the ticket that everyone wants. The young Designer knows how to put on a show, models moved seamlessly within the setup that drew inspiration from the grand Budapest hotel, and even The Shining, and had arguably the best soundtrack of the season.
For AW16 the label created an uber cool collection that had social media going crazy over the Streetzies furry bunny heeled house slippers. The Tatty Devine collaboration was spot on, the little clutch suitcases emblazoned with fun momentos that alluded to the kitsch traveller that would check in to Motel Peppiatt. Bold coloured furs, embroidered animal motifs and a smattering of embellishments made for a feminine wardrobe, that was fun but of course wearable.
