There is a reason why everyone talks about utilising natural light for your photography.  Number one it’s free, and gives images a dynamic atmosphere, whereas artificial light can have the tendancy to take the character out of an image, and be almost stark. I love having deep shadows in a image, because in contrast it makes any colour or area of the shot in light more prominent.

My main aim when taking pictures is to capture exactly what I see with my naked eye, and engrain it on the digital sensor, and natural light goes a long way towards that. Although unpredictable, a burst of sunshine can make one area to exposed, or it gets cloudy, and becomes too dark but when everything comes together, you can get something really beautiful.
