Home food delivery is about to get luxe thanks to EatFirst. I see takeaways as a guilty pleasure and tend to be greasy affairs that satisfy a last minute need. What makes the EatFirst takeaway service so special is that the gourmet restaurant is solely online. With Head Chef Benn Hodges at the helm, Eatfirst has a team of chefs, kitchens and affordable curated healthy menus. Expect artisanal mains, sides, and desserts to come with complimentary cards that have an intro to each dish, the ingredients, serving and heating suggestions.
I am adopting Hygge and the gourmet menu is perfect for the slower living philosophy. All meals are cooked fresh and served chilled. The Bagasse containers are oven and microwave safe, so after the food is heated, I like to set up the table and dress the food on the plate. The current menu is geared towards our love of brunch, so expect a cross section from French toast, Thai beef penang curry, butternut squash quesadillas to winter pumpkin soup. I am collaborating with the EatFirst team (yay!) and I can’t wait to introduce you to the upcoming Festive Thanksgiving and Christmas menu. I will be hosting a festive supper club next week, so keep an eye out for my full post from the evening.
