Fragrance is such a personal thing, and perfumers work hard to be able to strike a chord with the right accents. When done well, a few spritz from the nozzle should envelop you and bring you along in a fragrant story. Perfumers need to essentially balance what we know and love about our favourite signature scents and create something new. My last experience of an Elie Saab fragrance was the more exotic Resort. Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian continues the love affair with the latest Elie Saab Rose Couture parfum, with signature orange blossom notes, but complemented with rose petals. The subtle rose pink bottle is testament to the soft and feminine fruity floral essence that is derived from the nectar of the rose, and essence of the vanilla.
Top Notes: Peony, Rose Nectar, Orange Blossom
Heart Notes: Vanilla, Jasmine
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli
The Elie Saab le parfum rose couture is set to be available nationwide from 1st February 2016, in-store in Harrods, John Lewis and Selfridges
