LFW SS13 is just under two weeks away and I can’t help but be excited about continuing to be a part of it. I particularly look forward to the salon shows as well as the major catwalks. What I like most about the intimate portico rooms although small, the space gives the designer a chance to be a bit more creative. Remember the Orla Kiely tea dance? and the 70′s Tata Naka Disco? How about the Eudon Choi AW12 Iceland? The models were adorned in bejewelled skull caps, and fur mitts, on a stark colour palette of outerwear in white, creams, navy blue, and greys. Against a simple screen with a projected white landscape, they looked out through binoculars, as if there were miles of white noise.
