Hartnell to Amies: Couture by royal appointment is the latest major fashion exhibition to be housed at the esteemed Fashion & Textile Museum.  Beautiful couture gowns, millinery, and photos are a realised archive of the Queens patronage to talented British designers, Norman Hartnell, Hardy Aimes, Frederick Fox, and Ian Thomas.  As usual FTM has managed to create an exhibition that is beneficial to all lovers of fashion from design students looking for inspiration,  right through to the general public who may remember the pieces the first time around, The exhibition is officially open, and runs until 23rd February  and make sure to check out the FTM  page for corresponding events, and talks In lieu of the exhibition.
