Having been a fashion and lifestyle Blogger for just under six years, honing my craft has taught me about true flexibility. This young creative industry means that the term Blogger doesn’t mean just one thing. Running this online space on a self hosted web server means taking on coding and update responsibilities that I had to essentially learn on the job. I am a Photographer, an Editor, Writer and general Don that has lots of things on the go.
Blogging continues to rock when amazing opportunities continue to arrive in my inbox. HP challenged me to bend the rules utilising their latest offering the HP X 2 Pavilion. Although not exactly lightweight, the A4 sized HP Pavilion x 2 hybrid laptop and tablet has genuinely been a great tool, with four versatile modes ( Notebook, tablet, stand, and tent modes with the new hinge design) and irrisistable price, from drafting blog posts, updating social media, to catching up on Netflix in my downtime.
For this collaboration I took to Versailles to relive the scenes of the incomparable Sofia Coppola’s Antoinette. The secret rooms, private royal apartments and the infamous Hall of mirrors would have been the amazing backdrop for the modern adaptation. Early morning en route to Paris, I watched the film and it was like my own private cinema listening on my bluetooth JAM headphones with clear audio thank to the Pavilion’s B&O play with two speakers. The opulence of the scenery could easily be appreciated on the Pavilion’s vivid picture and responsive touch HD touchscreen. Nothing really could have prepared me for the real thing. The care that has gone into continuing to maintain and curate the luxury details of the chateau and grounds, were truly exceptional.
