Mr Kurt Geiger

Yes I know that Kurt Geiger is not really one man conjuring up designs to make a mere mortal women feel more sexy, and confident, ( my imagination has him as a recluse with comic round glasses designing for his ideal woman) I know enough about fashion (and having previously worked as a sales assistant at one of their concessions) to know there is a dedicated team of buyers, and in-house designers continuing to make this cool brand something we want to return to again and again. Their main line of Kurt Geiger, KG and introduction of sunglasses, jewellery, beach wear, and oversized totes were the main focus of the press day, you would be blind not to notice the trend was all about colour, whether pastel hardened with black straps and complementary colours, candy shades prevalent with the flats, and outright neon brights; one particular favourite a dazzle of glitter on the underside of the heel. Everything will be available Jan/ Feb with a couple of pieces being introduced in December, oh and Mr Geiger if you are real? feel free to send me that lime green oversized suede clutch with the exposed zip. Ah I love Kurt Geiger! I can never walk past a KG shop without popping in. Next season’s collections look amazing.

I like to think he is one man! One man called kurt, taking the shoe world (and all our wardrobes) by storm.

You can count me in for a visit to see the two bouncing bundles, as soon as you’ll have me. Though how much catching up they’ll let us do remains to be seen…! Xx
