In a creative field you never stop learning. Photography has become my first love thanks to blogging, and I want to expand, and experiment on that, and Lomography has allowed me to delve into analogue in style. In the gallery above are sample pictures using colour negative 800 film at night. I wanted to capture the Bright Old Things Selfridges windows as they are ready made editorials, and so well lit. I am not completely overjoyed with my first run at using the fisheye 2, but I look forward to playing around with the double exposures some more and capturing key presentations like Orla Kiely and Sophia Webster at London Fashion Week.
The Fisheye 2 is actually super easy to use, simply input the film and an AA battery you are ready to go. To utilise the double exposure take a picture and before you turn the dial to wind up the film, flip the double exposure tab at the back and take another picture. Both images will be beautifully layered. The only three settings are lock. ideal when the camera is not in use to avoid accidental pictures. Standard, and the bulb option which allows for a long shutter as long as you hold down the button.
- 170-degree wide-angle lens with fisheye distortion.
- Use the built-in electronic flash or attach another flash to the hotshoe.
- Fisheye viewfinder
- Uses 35mm Film
