This spring summer 2016 Lou Dalton balanced a sense of a modern 90’s euphoria, with utility and tailored sportswear. She has always created clothes that men want to wear and this SS16 season sees the new essentials of a man’s wardrobe from the zip up Harrington jacket, lightweight blazer, to the tailored cargo print using  fine technical fabrics by Lanificio Cerruti .

Nautical references, gingham checks and a distorted madras print broke up the block colour palette of sky and navy blues, burnt orange and grey, Lou referenced from a beautiful photograph of a housing estate. The collection was a sense of her nostalgia with her recollection of a coming of age, but completely up to date moving the style of the era forward, and bang up to date.
