The Marc Jacobs pop up tweet shop is a lesson in social media because tweets are the currency. Finally here in London after the buzz from opening in New York, Marc Jacobs is setting up shop at Covent Garden. Open to the public from the 15th-17th August, once inside the concept store photograph and tweet using the field of daisies, and cabana as a backdrop. Using hashtag #MJdaisychain in exchange for Marc Jacobs goodies, simply tweet, show the tweet to the Tweet shop counter, and receive your free gift.
The selection includes a MJ key chain, and samples of the Daisy range including latest release Daisy dream. The more creative the tweet the higher the stakes, as you are in with the chance to take away a Marc Jacobs bag. There is also the opportunity to get custom daisy nail art, and enjoy coffee and Macaroons, so literally put your wallet away because your money will be no good there, make sure your phone is fully charged, and get snapping. This is a fabulous concept but it does make me laugh to think of the few members of the public who are still not social media aware, and demanding to pay money for the accessories, and perfumes on display.
