Facewalk
In fashion shows the beauty looks are photographed backstage to be captured as a prequel in the lead up to the anticipated catwalk, and QVC decided to put beauty centre stage in a first ever QVC Facewalk. Within the intimate setting of the Hospital club with an audience of select beauty journalists, models became canvasses sporting everyday nude looks through to the theatrical. Leading makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench created themed looks entitled space, punk, nude, flower, and bird, utilising QVC beauty brands including Jemma Kidd, Dalton, BareMinerals, Laura Geller, and Bobbi Brown. The romanticism of the Pierrot clown /Geisha was represented reminiscent of the painted faces of Vivienne Westwood circa Paris 2010. Really it was about putting some fun back into beauty, and showcasing the full potential of make up check out this video from the event and get to face painting. I am sure facewalks will catch on.
