Burnt

Nothing can beat seeing a garment on a live model, the dream girl envisioned by Robert Wun was realised in structured crop tops layered atop oversized flared pleated frills.  His latest collection ‘Burnt.’ titled to reflect the ombre white to black gradient effect throughout the collection; to me was a symbol of Alice in Wonderland all grown up from the Tim Burton vision. Somehow still holding on to her feminine innocence, but making it perfectly clear that she means business in her horned platform boots, designed and created by Robert himself. He would have needed to capture the imagination as the press were already regaled by the LCF graduate catwalk, but everyone was vying for his attention in the exhibition space at Factory 7. I very much look forward to what this designer will do next as he is already paving a way of beautiful imagery captured by Louis Lander Deacon, and a high standard of work.
