Sensai
Let me start by saying thank you to the beautiful model Sensimelia a complete coincidence and a humour that wasn’t lost on me as I asked Sensi to model the rouge palette from Sensai ( making sure to add I test all beauty products myself, but I have a vision of how I want the pictures to look so my younger sister is a perfect stand in as we have the same skin tone). The packaging was simple enough completely a no frills plain black box, but that is probably an attribute to being an introductory kit, its simplicity made me even more curious as the package was a complete surprise. The rouge kit comprises of 8 lip cream colours imagine each shade mixed with warmer and cooler hues in the red family the palette ranging from pink, coral, to berry red; a mini lip brush for best application, and SPF 15 lip base. Starting with a good base I exfoliated lips with LP Skin therapy refining lip exfoiliater, a fine scrub that takes away dead skin; then applied the lip base from the kit, the actual texture of the cream colours is what you would expect smooth, and creamy enough but I was more interested in the pigment and brightness of colour once on the lips. 7/8 of the shades will be something I will continue to wear the coral orange was not right for me at all, but overall very impressed with how the colours still managed to pop against my dark skin wish it were a bit shinier but it is a cream, and not a gloss, and that is nothing I can’t remedy with lipcote sealer.
