Times are changing. Temperley SS15 is going in a younger fresher direction, with Alice by Temperley merging into their mainline collection. Don’t worry there isn’t too much of an unrecognisable brand overhaul, this is more about the British Heritage brand having more of an edge. Expect a full day to evening offering with rich jacquards, ornate beading and fresh patterns. There are trainers in the collection..trainers, I tell you at Temperley London. For the very first time lace up trainers sit alongside floor length gowns, playsuits, check boiler suits and kimonos. I am seriously loving the revamp, although I did miss the presentation of wedding attire tiaras and jewellery from the showroom.
Suiting is a main focus for the SS15 collection, it seems to be all about the flow with soft sculpted lines. Layered silks, knits and embroidery in pretty pastels offset against bolder hand painted Japanese Shunga ink prints. There is no need to wait until Feb/March 2015, shop the key pieces from the opulent AW14 that you can get your hands on now here.
