As if we needed another reason to head to East London, my husband actually joked that I must have a partner there as I always seem to be going to Shoreditch.   Sony has teamed up with renowned LA-based photographer, Tyler Shields to create The Science of Colour: a new all-digital art exhibition, which sees Tyler use the Xperia Tablet Z as his canvas. Yes that Tyler, the guy who set the Birkin bag on fire which created such an uproar but in my opinion was  a stunning photograph, that really made you think about worth. Taking place at The Dray Walk Gallery in London’s Truman Brewery, The Science of Colour will be digitally displayed for the first time on the Xperia Tablet Z; and  some of the work has even been shot under water using the Xperia Z smart phone.

“I’m beyond excited to create my first all digital exhibition. Technology plays such an important part in stimulating the imagination, which is why working with Sony who produce amazing visual experiences was a natural fit; especially since that’s exactly what I aim to achieve in all of my photographs. Combining my love of colour with technology to display my photographs is really exciting and I’m very proud to be creating the exhibition.”

The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 12th July – Sunday 14th July 2013
