I love a good collaboration. With the right pairing, at the right time, it is arguably still the top original way into breathing new life into the brands we covet. My twitter timeline is constantly littered with Urban Decay Nakd palette reviews, and the much loved brand has given us even more of an excuse to ahh and smile over their collaboration, with the Queen of cool, that is Gwen Stefani.  Continuing on from their initial success introducing the eye shadow palette. there are new pieces added to the beauty wardrobe that really complement the star who loves a good red lip, and a strong brow. The collection is encased in a vibrant art deco gold and black graphic print throughout.

Not all of the collection is for everyone. The brow box and the blush cheek palette will not straight out work for dark skin, they are quite pale and ideal for dark and light blondes; which are more for my Blogger BFF Labels for Lunch in bathwater blonde. I am assuming Gwen Stefani went all in with providing a collection that she loved for herself, creating hues that she wanted and couldn’t find; which I completely respect because this is her line. Having said that, the lipsticks and liners are an absolutely dream. Embossed with the classic UD, each colour is creamy rich and full, and has made me think about hues that I wouldn’t have tried before. Firebird is the one I keep coming back to becase it is a cool hybrid between berry and a warm pink. The six creamy waterproof glide on lip liners complement and match the lipsticks perfectly.
