Vibrant statement jewellery by Wenmei Zhang when styled with the illustrative expansive coats with furs by Ekaterina Gerasimova was pure luxe.  Wenmei found influence from traditional Inner Mongolian women hair styles and accessories, modernising to create beyond a neccestic function into pure fashion. The skill of a designer to survive in the fashion market now is not just about perfecting a craft but about taking a point of reference and making it into something completely new; as I see more and more designs, sometimes I feel as if I have seen it all before.  The designer thrust the concept that could have been costume into magnificent and innovative celebrations of colour and textures into hair accessories; combs, ear muffs that need to be seen to be believed.
