Be You

Be you. Such a simple statement that somehow encompasses everything, but will mean something different to every single person. I grew up in a house with a strong mother who taught me and my sisters about the importance of staying true to ourselves. Blogging for five and a half years, there is obviously the opportunities for comparison, and it can be very easy to get lost amongst the noise of social media, and the ever growing changing blogosphere, but over time I have learned to develop and trust my own voice.

My blog byline is a photography led life and style blog through the camera lens of an adorned girl, and I hope to capture and document stories through my eyes. A part of my 'eye' is shooting street style, and over the various seasons of fashion weeks, I have come across some fearless looks. Fashion is just one of those tools that can enable you to express your individuality and can even be a suit of armour.

Following in the same message of inspiring confidence and being true to yourself, TreacleMoon have launched the #Beyou initiative supporting charity partner BulliesOut. The charity  raises confidence, self-esteem and motivates young people to achieve their aspirations and career choices. There can be  that barrier to learning, such as bullying, which can prevent people from recognising and achieving their full potential. and both the charity and Treaclemoon think it’s important to celebrate individuality and expression.

Show your support and check out the online shop. All profits from the sale of supporting tees and wristband from the Be You project shop will be donated to support the amazing work of BulliesOut. Make sure to also get involved on social media and spread something positive with the #BeYou hashtag. All those that do will be automatically entered into the fortnightly draw to win Treaclemoon goodies.
