“Hi Ashanti, would love to see if you would like to come, to our knit in at Piccadilly Circus station.” Surprisingly the station has seen some prestigious brands showcase, and I like to try new things. Some help from knitting master Katie Jones was definitely an added bonus. Knitting no matter how hard I try, has continually managed to allude me. The knit-in was the chance to highlight and celebrate Bouf’s newly launched pop up shop with Transport for London.
For those that didn’t know Bouf.com is an online marketplace for homeware and interior design ideas owned by Ben Siegle. The team includes Journalist and Broadcaster Lucy Siegle, and Bouf Creative Director Tamsin Blanchard, Fashion Features Director at Tank Magazine. A variety of creative projects will see the brand collaborate with emerging Designers, to transform Piccadilly Circus station to celebrate London Underground’s design history. In the run up to Christmas eve, Bouf’s #XmasStockingProject partnering with Katie Jones Knit, will be a treasure trove of stocking fillers.
